Considered a post-fermented tea, pu-erh leaves are subjected to a fermentation process after rolling and drying. The process gives the tea a rich, earthy character prized for its health benefits not necessarily its taste. This tea has been traditionally touted as a weight-loss tea because of its ability to help burn fat and enhance digestion.

Organic Pu-erh Tea
Pour 8oz of 190°-205°F water over one to two teaspoons of tea, steep 25 seconds then pour out the water. Traditionally a rinse pour is thought to allow the tea leaves and tea ware to warm, ensuring a better infusion. Add more boiling water and let steep 3-5 minutes, strain tea leaves or remove infuser and enjoy. This tea can be steeped many times!
